SKEETER SYNDROME: SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT
Although the bite is not the cause but the protein is injected by mosquitoes during bites. The presence of protein and various other substances in saliva is said to be allergens.
Allergic reactions to mosquito bites are only dependent on bite rates and the amount of time consumed. Some reactions are felt immediately or within a short period of time after a bite. Individuals who have no prior experience with allergic reactions to mosquito bites are known to experience rapid symptoms of skeeter syndrome.
Individuals who have never had previous mosquitoes allergy may also experience skeeter syndrome when visiting other countries or countries because of different mosquito species and their saliva contains different types of enzymes. Therefore, there may be allergies to some species while having little or no allergic reactions to other mosquitoes. Mosquitoes attracted to carbon dioxide produced by breathing and pregnant women are targeted as they excrete more carbon dioxide than average adults. Mosquitoes are also attracted to prolonged acidic people and blood O.
Skeeter's syndrome is not contagious and it is also called papular urticaria.
SINDROM SKEETER SYMPTOMS
People who spend a lot of time outdoors are more likely to be mosquito bites and also, people with low immunity or immunodeficiency may get a bad reaction when bitten by mosquitoes even though immunity rises with age. Children, children and older people are mostly affected by skein syndrome because they have little immunity against mosquitoes so parents have to make sure their children are protected with mosquito bites, especially allergies.
